Powering the Chevy Trax is a spritely 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that makes 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. Working with the engine is a 6-speed automatic transmission. Interior Features
With only three trim levels, the Chevy Trax keeps things simple. The base trim of the Chevy Trax comes outfitted with cloth-trimmed seats, 60/40 split folding rear seats, and seating for up to five. Moving to the LT trim ensures a few interior creature comforts, including remote start and a stowage drawer beneath the front-passenger seat. The top of the line Premier trim level includes heated front seats and simulated leather upholstery.
Exterior Features
The Trax ensures some adventure capability thanks to available roof rails, so you can easily strap various items to your roof. The Chevy Trax also includes a few wheel size options, sport chrome accents, and several other aesthetic tweaks.


Safety
The new Chevy Trax offers up a mix of classic safety features and modern driver assistance ones. The base trim sticks to airbags and seatbelts while upper trims make a Driver Confidence and Driver Confidence II package available (both add driver assistance features).
