Together, we have provided nearly two million pounds of food to families in need over the past two decades.

Food insecurity is lessened one meal at a time, and one simple act of kindness makes a difference right here in our hometown. This October, it's easy to help during the season when food demand is at its highest. You can purchase $10 food bags at any Tri-Cities Yokes Fresh Markets or Wrays Marketfresh in Yakima, or drop off nonperishable food items at any McCurley Dealership showroom.

All October long, a portion of every vehicle sold will also go directly to our local food banks.

Donations of nonperishable items can be placed in the showroom donation vehicle at any McCurley location in Southeast or Central Washington between the hours of 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

This year's Hometown Food Drive goal is $50,000. Every dollar raised through vehicle sales at McCurley Dealerships from October 1 through October 31 will be donated in early November to help food banks purchase the items they need most.

How You Can Help at the Grocery Store 🛒

This October, customers at any Yokes Fresh Market or Wrays Marketfresh in Yakima can purchase a 10 dollar prepacked Food Drive Bag right at checkout. Simply place the donated bag in the collection bin before leaving the store.

All Food Drive Bags will be gathered throughout the month and delivered to local food banks in November, along with the items purchased through McCurley Dealerships.

Over the years, donations from Yokes and Wrays customers combined with McCurley contributions have added up to nearly two million pounds of food for our region. These items include essentials like cereal, pasta, canned vegetables and fruit, tuna, peanut butter, and holiday favorites such as stuffing, cranberries, yams, and gravy.

Local food banks use these resources to stock their shelves for the months of November, December, and January, ensuring families have dependable meals through the holiday season and winter months.
